Final Project 
Natural Disaster : Wildfire

 We are meant to research the given topic in our group and breakdown the information into parts - narrative and visualisation with aim to educate the viewers about the issue.

Use questions ‘What, why, where, when, who and how’ into the building of your narrative before transferring the information onto your storyboard.

My groupmates are, Sangeetha, Melissa and Mokshannah. We got 'Natural Disaster' as our category and we've decided to cover about 'Wildfires' specifically the Australian Wildfires that has been happening recently.

Our title is "Friendly Fires Gone Bad".

Below is the developed storyboard for our animation that Sangeetha compiled. It also contains details on what elements would be included in each scene and the estimated length of the scene.

Below is the animatics that I've produced for our group. The voice was recorded by Sangeetha and I tweaked the pitch of the voice to a child-like voice.


 Illustrations 
My role was doing some of the illustrations and sound editing. I began with my illustrations on the Procreate App. I gave Sangeetha frame by frame of illustrations that she wanted.

Video & Sound Editing
After that Sangeetha recorded her voice again and I edited it in Adobe Audition. I edited out the white noise of the audio and decreased the echo. I also played around with the 'Parametric Equaliser' effect and also the 'Time and Pitch effect' to make it sound more child-like.


Melissa and Sangeetha sent me the animated videos to compile. So i decided to use Adobe Premiere Pro to compile and videos and also add the audio and captions.


I also added in sound effects and a suitable background music to the video.

By the end of the semester we would have to present one product from the project. This project is interesting as it gives us an opportunity to venture into different design applications. We were strongly urged to step out of our specialisations.
