It is the first day of physical class, Mr Mike explained to us about the module and read through the MIB. Mr Mike also explained about the projects that we were about to assigned through the semester.

Project 1A : Case Study

24.08.2020 | Week 1
Our first task was to come up with a case study of a famous brand or event/campaign. I've decided to do a case study on Apple. This exercises is to be completed in class, it is to prep us for Project 1A.



07.09.2020 | Week 3
After getting feedbacks from Mr Mike via email, I continued my project with a case study on an event called "Tomorrowland".

  27/03/2021-05/07/2021 (Week 1 - Week 15) Yeo Ava (0340222) Design Exploration Projects Instructions Projects We were given the option to build any project we wanted based on the 17 Sustainable Development Goals for this module. By the end of the semester we would have to present one product from the project. This project is interesting as it gives us an opportunity to venture into different design applications. We were strongly urged to step out of our specialisations. After much considerations and research on the 17 Sustainable Development Goals, I've decided to choose Gender Equality as my topic for the project.  Gender equality, also known as sexual equality or equality of the sexes, is the state of equal ease of access to resources and opportunities regardless of gender, including economic participation and decision-making. 28/10/19- 18/11/19 (Week 10 - Week 13 ) Yeo Ava (0340222) Advanced Typography Final Project Lecture Instructions FINAL PROJECT Idea Proposal Idea #1 Idea : My initial idea was to create a greeting card representing the Dayaks in Sarawak. I wanted to use the technique "Kirigami" to create the greeting card. Purpose : To introduce and promote the culture to others. Fig 1.1 Reference Fig 1.2 Reference Idea #2 Idea : To redesign the logo of the "Visit Sarawak" campaign. Purpose : To create a more attractive and modern logo that represents Sarawak in a different way.
