Project 2 : Persona Building & Empathy Mapping

For this project we were to conduct surveys and interviews, after that we were to come up with 4 personas rom the data collected.

This project requires us to conduct an extensive research while analysis the obtained information with the 4 lenses in mind.

By the end of the semester we would have to present one product from the project. This project is interesting as it gives us an opportunity to venture into different design applications. We were strongly urged to step out of our specialisations. After much considerations and research on the 17 Sustainable Development Goals, I've decided to choose Gender Equality as my topic for the project.  Gender equality, also known as sexual equality or equality of the sexes, is the state of equal ease of access to resources and opportunities regardless of gender, including economic participation and decision-making. 28/10/19- 18/11/19 (Week 10 - Week 13 ) Yeo Ava (0340222) Advanced Typography Final Project Lecture Instructions FINAL PROJECT Idea Proposal Idea #1 Idea : My initial idea was to create a greeting card representing the Dayaks in Sarawak. I wanted to use the technique "Kirigami" to create the greeting card. Purpose : To introduce and promote the culture to others. Fig 1.1 Reference Fig 1.2 Reference Idea #2 Idea : To redesign the logo of the "Visit Sarawak" campaign. Purpose : To create a more attractive and modern logo that represents Sarawak in a different way. Fig 1.3 Original logo of "Visit Sarawak" campaign Mr Vinod approved the second idea and suggested me to make a set of typeface that will be used during an event in Sarawak, like a official typeface for Sarawak tourism.
